Most barbering courses end with a certificate and a question mark. Ours ends with a chair, a clientele, and — for many of our graduates — a job on our team.
Two cohorts. Ten graduates. Eight now working at Space Male Image — across both Hessle and Cottingham. The rest have placed in the industry or are actively pursuing positions.
Each of these graduates walked into the course with little or no experience. Twelve weeks later, they were behind their own chairs. Today, four of them work at Space Male Image.

Honestly, no. The 12 Week Fundamentals is reserved for true beginners so the cohort moves at one pace. If you're already cutting and want to level up, our 2-Day Professional Development Course is the right fit.
Yes — from week 6 onwards, you'll start working on live models. We do our best to help arrange models for the group, but we also encourage students to start building a small clientele themselves through social media during the early weeks. We'll work on this together.
Yes. A 20% non-refundable deposit secures your place. The balance can be paid in full or split into instalments via GoCardless.
At least two months' notice is required to cancel. Deposits are non-refundable, but where possible we'll do our best to transfer your place to a future cohort.
Yes. You'll receive a certificate confirming completion of our 12 Week Fundamentals course. This is our own training certificate — it isn't a governing-body qualification.
We'll do our best to recap the content quickly when you return, but we can't promise a full make-up of a missed day's education. Attendance matters — please come prepared to be there every Sunday.
