Education · Run From Hessle

Three ways to learn modern barbering.

Education built on the systems we use in our shops every day — from a single observation day to a full twelve-week pathway. Taught by working barbers, designed for one outcome: better cutters behind better chairs.

The Approach
Built on the fundamentals — sharpened for the modern chair.
01
Real cuts. Real clients.
Hands-on training on real heads when you're ready — not mannequins, not theory days. The chair is the classroom.
02
Working barbers teaching.
Tutors are full-time working barbers from the shops, teaching the same systems they run on a paying client every day.
03
A chair after, not a certificate.
Eight of our last ten graduates now work in our shops. The course doesn't end with a piece of paper — it ends with a clientele.
The Courses

Pick the entry point that fits where you are.

Three offerings, three levels of commitment — designed to meet you where you are, whether you've never picked up a pair of scissors or you've been cutting for years and want to sharpen your work.

The Track Record

The course works because the results are real.

Most barbering courses end with a certificate and a question mark. Ours ends with a chair, a clientele, and — for most of our graduates — a job on our team.

From the Room

Words from people who've sat in it.

A short selection from our 2025 and 2026 cohorts. The full set lives on each course page.

"They made sure I was shop-ready at the end and even helped a lot of us find a place to work. This course has left me in a position I never thought I'd be in straight after."

"The 12 weeks gave me a foundation to build a clientele and a career. The educators clearly want the best for their students — alongside the cutting, I was taught business skills and life skills."
